1. Know the components
DualGuard Sync connects the order workflow you prepare on TradingView to a MetaTrader 5 (MT5) Master. When your plan includes Receivers, those additional MT5 accounts follow the Master according to their own configuration.
- Browser extension: connects the supported TradingView workflow to the companion application.
- Windows application and local Bridge: handle the connection between the browser and the configured terminals.
- Master: the MT5 account where the original order is executed.
- Receivers: authorized MT5 accounts configured to follow the Master.
The extension requires the desktop application and a valid licence. It does not execute trades as a standalone tool.
2. Prepare your setup
- Use your own supported Windows computer and a supported browser with the official DualGuard extension.
- Have the MT5 account details supplied by your broker available for entry inside the appropriate terminal.
- Check the broker or account provider’s rules before connecting a trading account.
- Use the DualGuard installation and activation route supplied for your plan. See how to verify a download.
Platform names describe the intended technical workflow. They do not grant rights to use a third party’s software or market data outside its current terms. See the platform notice.
3. Activate and verify the accounts
For a trial, verify the email used to register and use that same email in the application’s activation flow. The Advanced trial runs for seven days from email verification; recovering it does not restart the clock.
Configure the Master and, if included, each Receiver in the application. Enter broker credentials only in the intended MT5 sign-in flow. After signing in, wait for account verification and confirm the displayed account and server match your intended setup.
Entering an account number is not the same as a verified connection. If the application is still awaiting verification, check the MT5 sign-in and the visible connection state before continuing.
4. Review each Receiver
Basic has a Master and no Receiver. Advanced includes one Receiver. Pro supports up to three authorized Receivers. Review each Receiver’s account, server and volume settings independently.
A volume multiplier changes the configured Receiver volume relative to the Master. Account limits and broker conditions can affect the result. A connected Receiver is not proof that a particular order has been accepted by its broker.
5. Follow a controlled first test
- Use demo accounts and verify the intended Master and Receiver settings.
- Confirm that the browser, application and MT5 connection states are ready.
- Prepare the intended instruction and review its symbol, direction, volume and order details.
- Select Send, review the confirmation and confirm within the 15-second window. Changes or expiry require a fresh confirmation.
- Read the reported outcome, then check the actual order or position in the Master terminal and each Receiver terminal.
- Where your setup supports the operation, check a controlled modification or closure and inspect every terminal again.
Do not repeat an instruction simply because you have not seen its outcome yet. First check the terminals and visible status. This helps avoid an unintended second order.
6. If a step does not complete
Identify where the workflow stopped: browser connection, application, account verification, authorization or broker execution. The connection status guide explains what to check at each stage.
If Windows or an antivirus product blocks a file or closes the application, keep the exact alert and file name for support. Do not disable protection to complete a test. See installation troubleshooting.
For assistance, send the product version, Windows/browser versions, step that failed and a redacted screenshot. Do not send passwords or verification codes.
